Dear Friends and Partners in Christ!
This has been a truly blessed trip in every way. We have seen and experienced so many answers to your prayers.
God's Presence, His leading and direction have been so evident every day and in every way.
It has been amazing to watch Him open doors for ministry, and give us so many relationships and meetings with other believers, Churches and ministries here in Thailand in such a short period of time.
We especially thank God for Steve and Pam Chenoweth, Pastors of the Eternal Life Church in Bangkok, and David and Pamela Hall, English Pastors of the Jai Samarn Church in Hua Hin, and also NarongChai and Janpen, Thai Pastors of the Jai Samarn Church in Hua Hin.
They all have been so gracious in opening their hearts, their homes and their Churches to us, each allowing us to preach and minister to their congregations. David and Pamela also spent much time arranging meetings for us with other Christian workers and ministries in Hua Hin, which has been extremely valuable to us in seeing what God is already doing in Hua Hin and where we can come alongside the Body of Christ with our gifts and callings in the Lord.
We also had the privilege of being part of a citywide Pastors Luncheon, possibly the first for Hua Hin, where fifteen of us gathered together to get to know one another better, to eat and pray together.
Each of us had the opportunity to share the vision which God has placed on each of our hearts for reaching the people of Hua Hin, all of Thailand, and the surrounding countries. We all went away with a common respect for one another's ministries and a better understanding of how we might encourage and pray for each other. We believe that this first meeting will be something we can build upon in the future.
Our meeting with Brother Chowkee in Bangkok, who is a Burmese Pastor and the Director for AMG Ministries in Thailand, was very beneficial. We had not seen him for some years, even though they continue to use our literature in the Thai and Burmese languages. We are looking forward to ministering with him in Thailand and Myanmar upon our return to Thailand.
We see a tremendous opportunity for us to help encourage, teach, train and challenge the believers in Hua Hin, both Thai and foreign, in order to equip them to reach out to the 99 out of 100 people who are still without Christ in their city. The fields are ripe for harvest. The laborers are few. Pray with us for laborers to be sent to reap the harvest.
We also see open doors of opportunity to assist the Thai and International Churches in Hua Hin in planting Churches in the neighboring cities of Cha Am to the north, and Pranburi to the south. We will be able to help with evangelistic outreach, and preaching and teaching in both Thai and English.
We are getting prices in Thailand for the reprinting of our True Happiness book and tract, as well as Susy's testimonies. Pray for us to connect with the right printing company and for the funds for the printings. We also want to reprint in the Burmese language as soon as possible.
We are planning in the Lord to fly back to Ohio from Bangkok, Wednesday, February 9 at 7:00 pm, Ohio time, arriving in Cleveland at 7:30 pm on Thursday, February 10. Please pray for all aspects of our travel and weather and safety, as well as our bodies adjustment to the 12 hour time difference.
Those of you who pray, give, love and encourage us are playing a vital role in DenSu Ministries and in our personal lives as well. Thanks also for praying for David, who is doing a wonderful job back in Ohio as he takes care of everything. How blessed we are to have him as our son.
We will share more with you in the near future of our specific plans to return to Thailand, as we receive more clarity and direction from the Lord.
May God continue to bless and reward each of you in your lives and ministries and especially in your personal relationship with Jesus.
With much love and appreciation,
Dennis and Susy
