Another Awesome Month Of Ministry In Hua Hin, Thailand

Greetings in the Wonderful and Powerful Name of Jesus!
Thanks to each of you who have been faithfully praying for us and for the people of Hua Hin, Thailand.  God is certainly answering prayer for open doors and for the salvation of souls and for the expansion and growth of the Kingdom of God here in Hua Hin.
This is a picture of Sister Pan, our new sister in Christ.  We had met a Christian girl named Tik, who was working in a local café.  As we were visiting her and praying for her and sharing the Word of God with her, her co-worker, Pan, was watching and listening to us.  When we noticed her at the café, we introduced ourselves to her and Susy began sharing Christ with her.
Pan let us know that she had been to Church several times with Tik and that the Pastor had come to visit her at work and talked to her about Jesus, but she made it clear to us that she was not interested.
Susy continued to talk with her and get to know her and shared with her how God had changed her life 23 years earlier when she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and how her entire family came to Christ.
I continued to pray while Susy shared in Thai with her and we could really sense the Holy Spirit opening her heart to the Gospel.  To make a long story short, Pan gave her life to Christ that morning and was radically changed by Jesus.  She was so blessed and wept and wept with tears of joy, as she sensed the power and presence of God in her life.  She began going to Church and then her teenage daughter received Christ that day.  Please pray for her husband to also be saved and the remaining members of her family.  Praise the Lord!
This is a photo of our new sister in Christ, Nok.  I was walking down the aisle of a bunch of kisosks in a shopping center one day, and giving out tracts.  I laid one on a counter behind a lady who had been praying to an idol for a long time.
As I walked on, Nok who was working in the next kisosk called me over and motioned to me that she wanted one of the tracts I was passing out to people.  I greeted her and gave her one, even though I couldn’t talk to her.  I really sensed that the Holy Spirit was already dealing with her.  I walked on and came back a while later and she was very excited after reading some of the tract.  She kept patting herself on her chest indicating that something was going on in her heart.
Several days later I took Susy there to meet her.  As soon as she saw Susy, she started weeping uncontrollably, and Susy started crying also.  Nok couldn’t talk for a while, just kept showing us the hair on her arms standing up as they hugged one another with an instant bond.  Everyone was watching as they fixed their makeup and began to talk.  Nok sent one customer away because she wanted to hear what Susy had to say.  Susy shared the Gospel with her, although by this time she had read Susy’s story about how Jesus had changed her life and she let Susy know that is what she wanted.  Susy helped her pray to receive Jesus right there in front of all of her peers, and God touched her heart in a powerful way.
Pray for Nok as we follow up on her and help her get started in Jesus.  She has such a tender heart.  Pray for all those other vendors and workers around her as well.
The other day at lunch, Susy prayed with a man and woman to receive Christ, and then last night at Church she prayed with two more people to receive Jesus after the service was over.  Praise God!
Pray for our November 25 Sunday Thanksgiving Service.  We have invited many unsaved people to a free brunch at the Hilton Hotel where we meet.  We are expecting 150-200 people, many are unsaved.  Pray many will come to Christ.
Thanks for all your prayers and financial help and encouragement.  You are all such a blessing to us.
We love and appreciate you all,
Dennis and Susy

“JESUS - The One Who Changed My Life!”

Dear Friends and Partners in Christ!
Greetings in the Wonderful and Powerful Name of Jesus!
“JESUS  -  The One Who Changed My Life!” is the title of Susy’s new 32 page book written in the Thai language.  The writing, editing, layout and typesetting is complete and it is now at the printer in Bangkok, Thailand.  The first 3,000 copies should be ready for distribution very soon.
Thanks to each of you who have prayed for the writing of this new book which will certainly help many Thai people come to Christ to be saved and will help many Thai Christians live victorious and fruitful lives.
Please pray with us for the finances for the initial printing of this booklet and for additional printings to follow.  Pray that many believers and Churches in Thailand will want to use this ministry tool to reach out to the Thai people with the Gospel.
As always, we will be offering this book free of charge to those distributing it and to those receiving and reading it.  This continues to be our policy with any literature we write and publish.  Our many thanks to those of you who give and pray so that we can offer the Gospel free of charge.  As Jesus said, “Freely you have received, therefore, freely give.”
We believe that the most powerful aspect of the message contained in this book, which is a detailed account of not only Susy’s conversion to Christ but also her walk with Him for 23 years now, will be to help Thai Christians live victorious and fruitful lives, becoming radical disciples of Jesus Christ.
Susy uses much of the Word of God to explain to the readers, not only how she came to Christ to be saved, but also how she learned to walk with Jesus daily according to the Word of God.  She describes in depth how God helped her overcome hurts and abuses from her past, learning not only how to receive God’s forgiveness, but also how to find freedom in Christ by truly forgiving those who hurt her.
She also explains how she learned to use the Word of God to control her thought life and thereby control her feelings and emotions and to be led and controlled by the Holy Spirit, as well as how she learned to trust God and live a life of faith rather than always looking at her circumstances.
Another important part of the book is when Susy tells how she deals with the temptation to live an ordinary life as a Christian wife, mother and homemaker in America, versus following God’s call and command to go and tell other people about Jesus Christ, especially those who have never heard that God loves them and that Jesus Christ shed His Blood and died to redeem them.
So we are very excited about having this ministry tool here in Hua Hin, Thailand as we continue Preaching, Teaching and Publishing the Unsearchable Riches of Christ.

May God continue to Bless and use each of you as you serve Him each day.

We love and appreciate each of you,
Dennis, Susy and David Thomas Caplinger

Jesus Greetings From Hua Hin, Thailand

Dear Friends and Partners in Christ!
Greetings in the Wonderful and Powerful Name of Jesus!
As some have already said, we have hit the ground running here in Hua Hin, Thailand.  It has been so wonderful to have so many open doors and opportunities to Preach, Teach and Publish the Unsearchable Riches of Christ.
We are extremely grateful to God for those of you who pray for us and who give of your finances to help make our ministry possible here in Thailand among these precious people, with so many who still have not even heard about Jesus Christ, as well as among the babes in Christ.

We thank God for the preaching and ministry opportunities we have at the Power of Love International Church.  On Sunday morning, September 16, we preached the Word of God to about 65 people from many countries in both English and Thai languages.  We preach there most Sunday mornings, but are also scheduled to preach at local Thai Churches.
Next Sunday we are planning to move to a larger room at the same hotel to accommodate the new people who are coming each week.  We are also planning to begin a mid-week service on Tuesday evening to provide an alternative time for people who can’t come on Sunday morning, and for those who want to attend more than one service each week.
Susy works with a group of Thai Christian ladies every Sunday at 1:00 PM.  They are continuing to grow in the Lord and beginning to reach out to the lost and needy around the city in various ways.  She also stays busy visiting Thai people from house to house and in their businesses most days, in addition to witnessing and making disciples wherever she happens to be each day.
Please pray for many to attend the City Wide Thai Christian Women’s Conference to be held on Friday, October 12, which Susy will be helping to organize and where she will be sharing the Word of God.  They will also have a time of worship and testimonies from several other ladies.
This will be an outreach event where all Thai Christian women are being encouraged to bring unsaved loved ones and neighbors to hear the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Besides our regular weekly ministry with the Power of Love International Church, we continue to work with as many Churches, ministries and individual believers as we can to help reach all the precious people of Hua Hin.
Our newest event is the weekly bilingual study we are holding at a local café and bakery in Hua Hin.  The subject is Radical Discipleship and Power Evangelism.  It is for the equipping of believers who want to join with us in reaching out to all the people of Hua Hin.
The emphasis of the study is to become radical disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in every aspect of our lives, doing the works of Jesus just like the early disciples did in the Gospels and in the Book of Acts, in order to do evangelism every day, everywhere we are by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
Please pray that our lives will be turned inside out and upside down, so that we can turn Hua Hin upside down in the Mighty and Wonderful Name of Jesus Christ, as we proclaim Him in Word and Deed.
We love and appreciate you all.  Thanks so much for everything.

Dennis and Susy Return To Hua Hin For Four More Months

Dear DenSu Friends and Partners,

Greetings in the Wonderful Name of Jesus!

We are writing to let you know that we are returning to Hua Hin, Thailand in a couple of weeks on Sunday, September 2nd for four months, returning to the States on December 31.

We covet your prayers for our travel to Hua Hin and for our ministry time there.

We are so grateful to God for the doors of opportunity which He has opened to us in Hua Hin.

During our time there we will be reaching out to the Thai people and to the foreigners who live in and visit Hua Hin.

Preaching, teaching and publishing the Unsearchable Riches of Jesus Christ to everyone we can is our goal and passion.

We will be trusting in God's faithfulness to His Word, and the Power of the Holy Spirit and the Living Person of Jesus Christ as we minister to the lost and the seekers and the babes in Christ each day.

Teaching and training and discipling those who have a heart to serve Him will also be one of our priorities.

I will be preaching and teaching much of the time at the Power of Love International Church of Hua Hin, and also working with the Thai Churches and believers from time to time.

Susy will be working with as many of the Thai Churches and believers as she can, as well as discipling the Christian women of Hua Hin and following up on new believers from her previous trips.  She will also be ministering in Bangkok from time to time and possibly in the South of Thailand as the Lord leads.  Susy will also help minister to the foreigners and their Thai wives and girl friends as opportunities arise.

We will both be in the streets and the market places each day, out where the people are, passing out literature, sharing the Gospel with whoever we can, praying for the needs of people, saved and unsaved, and helping and training other believers to do the same.

We are expecting a great harvest of souls and for the Churches of Hua Hin to be encouraged and equipped and strengthened as we share the Word of God and the Love of Jesus with all that we can.

Susy will be finalizing and printing her new 30 page booklet in Thai and we will be publishing and distributing that during these four months.  We also want to reprint other Gospel materials of ours in both English and Thai. Pray with us to this end.

Please pray also for us to walk in strength and favor in body, soul and spirit in everything we do from our going out of the States until our return to the States.

Pray also for our son, David Thomas, as he takes care of things in Ohio for us and the ministry.  He has also recently joined a worship team at a Church in Canton, Ohio where he will be playing guitar.

May God use us all, which includes all of you, to advance the Kingdom of God here on earth until Jesus comes for us.

May He continue to prosper and bless us all so that we can always be a blessing to others in every way, every day.

May His Glory in the earth, be our goal, as we all labor to make Jesus known in Word and Deed, and may all of our lives truly honor Him and adorn the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as we proclaim His Great Love!

We are so thankful for each of you who pray and give and help in other ways.  We appreciate your love and friendship and partnership.

Dennis, Susy and David Thomas

Dennis' Upcoming Trip To Hua Hin, Thailand

Dear Friends and Partners in Christ!
Thanks for praying for Susy and her ministry trip to Thailand.  Her time of ministry was extremely fruitful.  She is back home now with David and I, while I make plans to travel to Hua Hin for a month of ministry work there, leaving on May 15th and returning June 14th.
We are so blessed and encouraged to see what God does each time we go to Hua Hin to minister, either separately or together.  The open doors and hearts that He leads us to and through are truly amazing.
So many lost souls have already come to know Christ during our times of ministry there, and we are beginning to identify some of the faithful and hungry believers in Hua Hin who we will be able to work with in the coming months and years to make a great impact for Christ in that city and region and to the South of Thailand, extending even to the surrounding countries of Southeast Asia.
We want to not only continue to win souls ourselves, but to challenge, teach and train existing believers to do the same.  We also want to encourage and help pastors and Church leaders to reach out and multiply and even plant new Churches so that more and more precious Thai people can come to know Jesus Christ.
Susy and I see and believe that the fields are ripe for harvest, and we are laboring to see the workers go into the harvest fields each day.  We know that the hearts of people are empty and ready to be filled with the love of God as the Gospel is shared with them in a relevant and loving manner, and we are laboring to help the Thai Churches and believers to see  and experience the same truth.
We desire to see every person living in and visiting Hua Hin to hear about the love of Jesus and have an opportunity to believe in Him and receive Him as their personal Lord and Savior.
This is our desire for every Thai person, every English speaking foreigner, as well as the many Burmese, Nepali and Indian people living and working in Hua Hin.
During my upcoming trip to Thailand, I will be working with a fairly new English speaking International Church in Hua Hin.  They have asked me to help them in the areas of preaching and teaching  the Word of God as well as training them in personal soulwinning and Church growth.
I am excited about this opportunity, since they are so young and hungry and desire to reach out in various ways so that everyone can come to know the Lord.  Please pray for their openness to receive the Word of God as the Holy Spirit directs us.
I will also be working with the Thai Churches in preaching, teaching and training believers to win souls in their daily lives as I have opportunity.
And of course, I will be doing that which I love to do the most, I will be out among the lost each day in the streets and marketplaces distributing literature and praying for people and with people to receive Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.
Thank you in advance for praying for all aspects of my upcoming trip, and for God’s provision in every area, and for my sensitivity and obedience to the Holy Spirit, as He guides, directs and empowers me each and every moment of each day.
In closing, I want to mention the new book that David and I worked on while Susy was in Thailand.  After our discussions and planning, we have decided to wait until we get clearer direction from the Lord before we go any further.
It may be that the content of the book may be developed as a seminar and then later turn into a book and even a curriculum for teaching and training believers in service for the Lord.
We will keep you posted concerning this project as we know more and when we resume working on it.  We know that God will direct us and make everything clear, then it will be worth doing.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support for Susy, David Thomas and I and for our ministry outreach in Thailand and around the world.  You are all so precious and important to us.  May the Lord continue to bless each of you in every way.
We love and appreciate you all!

Susy Returns from Thailand April 03

Dear Friends and Partners in Christ!
Thanks for praying for Susy and her ministry trip to Thailand.  It has been extremely fruitful.  She has two more weeks of ministry there before returning to the States on April 3rd.
During these last two weeks, she will be speaking in Thai Churches on both remaining Sundays, one in Hua Hin and the other in Bangkok, where she will continue challenging and equipping the Thai Christians to reach out to their own people with the Gospel of Christ.
She will also be speaking at a Thai Christian Woman’s Gathering in Hua Hin, which will wrap up her time of ministry among the ladies during these past two and one half months.
Her goal is to leave behind some Thai ladies who are now motivated and empowered to go out winning souls wherever they are each day, by putting into practice what they have learned from Susy’s teaching and example.
She has had the privilege of distributing our Gospel literature to many people in Thailand, and to lead many precious souls to receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Susy shared the Gospel with two ladies in a beauty shop on day, helping both of them to received Christ into their lives.  Afterwards, one of the ladies daughter came in and she also wanted to receive Jesus and be saved.
The next Sunday, they went to Church and brought their mother, who also received Christ that Sunday at Church.  Praise The Lord!
Another day she led two men to Christ after telling them the Good News about Jesus.  One was the Thai owner of a beauty supply store Susy visited, and the other was the manager of some shop she visited.  He was Burmese.
One day as she was near the train station in Hua Hin, the Holy Spirit led her to a mother and daughter traveling by train.  She shared about Jesus with them and they both wanted to pray to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior.  They left Hua Hin rejoicing in the Lord as they left the city to return back home.
While attending Church services at two different Churches she discovered an unsaved Thai lady at each and was able to share Christ with them and lead them to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Susy was at the grocery store one day and shared Christ with another Thai lady and helped her pray to receive Jesus.  She has seen her several times since and she is rejoicing in the Lord.
She approached a lady selling real estate in a mall one day and shared with her about Jesus.  This laday prayed to receive Christ right there on the job, and them met Susy at Church on Sunday, where she told others about her new found Savior and received Communion for the first time.
These are just some of the stories that Susy tells me about each time I talk to her by phone.  Obviously we are rejoice at the fruit she is seeing through the Power of the Gospel.  She is so grateful, as am I for your prayers and support and love.
Please join us in praying for Susy and the other believers in Hua Hin as follows:
  • For God’s supply for her every need and for Divine protection and health for Susy.
  • For Divine connections with other sisters in Christ who want to be discipled and trained.
  • For a great harvest of souls and for many of the Thai ladies to become personal soulwinners.
  • For the spirit of fear to be broken among the Thai people, both believers and unbelievers.
  • For the Thai Christians and leaders to be bold in sharing their faith, and to be filled with the Holy Spirit and with the Love and Compassion of Jesus.
  • For much fruit to remain as Susy returns back home in a couple of weeks.
  • For us to know our next step in our continuing ministry work in Hua Hin, Thailand.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support for Susy, David Thomas and I and for our ministry outreach in Thailand and around the world.
We love and appreciate you all!

Thailand Update: Susy's Ministry In Hua Hin and Bangkok

Dear Friends and Partners in Christ!
Thanks for praying for Susy and her ministry trip to Thailand.  She is almost halfway through her time there, with plans to return to the States on April 3rd.
She is having a very blessed time of ministry in Thailand.  She was in Bangkok for a couple of weeks and is now in Hua Hin where she will spend two months sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and teaching others to do the same.
Her ministry activities include speaking, teaching and training, praying for people, literature distribution, personal witnessing, soulwinning, and encouraging others in the Lord.
While in Bangkok, she was invited to participate in a Gideon outreach to a local high school, where they distributed New Testaments and Bibles to the students.  Susy had the privilege of leading seven students to Christ as she shared the Gospel with each of them and helped them pray to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior.  Praise The Lord!
On another occasion, she visited a friend in Bangkok who she had grown up with in the South of Thailand.  She had not seen her since school days many years ago.  She shared the Gospel with her and her family.
While at their house she noticed her grandmother, who could not walk, or at least had great difficulty walking.  Susy shared the Gospel with her and asked if she could pray for her.  The elderly lady agreed that Susy could pray that she would be able to walk.
Before praying for her legs, Susy shared the Gospel with her some more and asked if she would like to receive Jesus as her Lord and Savior.  Grandma said yes, and Susy helped her pray to receive Christ.
Susy then prayed for her to be healed in her body so that she could walk.  Before Susy left, Grandma was up walking around.  Praise God!  Saved and healed in the same day.  Just like in the days of Jesus.  The whole family took notice of this and Susy will be able to share with them again in the future.
Susy said that she prays, “God, use me!”  And He does.  He continues to open doors for her to share the Good News about Jesus and to help other believers do the same.  Thank you Lord!
She has been holding teaching and training sessions for Thai women on Friday afternoons, to train the believers how to witness and win souls, and she is speaking at various Churches on Sundays, and other Christian group meetings during the week.
She has also been participating in weekly prayer meetings with Church leaders in Hua Hin, as well as city wide worship meetings held monthly for believers from all the Hua Hin churches.
During the last two women’s training sessions on Saturday, she was able to led two Thai ladies to the Lord.  They had come with others to the meetings, but were not Christians.  Praise The Lord!
Susy is also enjoying just being out in the streets and market places meeting people and sharing Christ with them wherever she goes.
  • For God’s grace and peace to abound to Susy, David Thomas and I during this time apart.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support for Susy, David Thomas and I and for our ministry outreach in Thailand and around the world, and for all aspects of DenSu Ministries.
We love and appreciate you all!

Susy Returns To Thailand January 18

Dear Friends and Partners in Christ!
First of all, we thank God for His Amazing Grace and Love poured out upon us in 2011, and for the honor and privilege of knowing Him as sons and daughters of God.
We thank Him also for the honor and privilege of serving Him here in the States and overseas throughout 2011.
We thank Him for the fruitful times of ministering to people through preaching, teaching and publishing the Gospel, as well as personal  ministry and soulwinning.
More than 100,000 visitors from 201 countries and territories visited our evangelistic websites to read and listen to True Happiness Can Be Yours online.  Many precious souls from around the world wrote to tell us they prayed to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
As we look ahead at 2012, Susy is planning in the Lord to go to Thailand for two and a half months.  She is scheduled to leave on January 18 and return April 3.
She will be focusing on training and equipping the believers in Bangkok and Hua Hin in sharing their faith out where the people are, and will make herself available to all the Churches and local fellowships to provide teaching for the ladies who are hungry to be be trained and equipped to share their faith with others.
Let’s pray for Susy’s trip to Thailand as follows:
  • For her flights and all aspects of her travel and immigration and customs.
  • For God’s provision and supply for every need and for His Divine Protection for Susy.
  • For Divine connections with other sisters in Christ who want to be discipled and trained.
  • For a great harvest of souls and for many of the Thai ladies to become personal soulwinners.
  • For His grace for us being apart for this time.
As Susy builds on the foundation which was laid during our last trips to Hua Hin, she will be evaluating how we can best impact that area of Thailand in future trips for both of us, and how we can most effectively strengthen and equip the Body of Christ in Hua Hin to reach their people and beyond.
Pray with us for discernment and wisdom as to how we can best establish a dynamic and ongoing work of ministry in Hua Hin and to know who the key people and ministries are in that region for us to partner with in the coming months and years.
While Susy is away in Thailand for the first few months of 2012, David Thomas and I will begin working on the writing of a new book which we have been contemplating for some time now.
Our first book, True Happiness Can Be Yours, has been and continues to be a great evangelistic and discipleship tool all around the world, still bearing much fruit.
This new book, which we still don’t know what the title will be, will be directed primarily towards believers who want to walk strong with God and who want to be everything God saved them to be, and who want to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus has taken hold of them.
The message of the book will be a call to follow Jesus Christ as radical disciples, a call to total Lordship in how we live out our lives everyday.  The instruction and training of the book will empower and equip any true dedicated believer to live fruitful and victorious lives, impacting their world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Word and Deed.
This book will take the believer into the heart, mind and life of the Lord Jesus, revealing what He is trying to do in the world today through His Church by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
We will be publishing the book for distribution in all the newest formats for electronic, digital and audio distribution worldwide, as well as in print.
The main demographic of reader or listener of the book will be directed toward the younger generation, teenagers up to thirty years old.
While the truths and message of the book can impact anyone who wants to serve God, our desire is to target younger believers before they are set in their ways and careers, to challenge them to live their lives for Christ everyday, everywhere they are, in the fullness and power of the Holy Spirit.
Please pray for David Thomas and I to work well together in this endeavor and to have the wisdom and mind of God as we seek Him together to sense His heart and call for the youth of His Church.
Your prayers and support in all of this are so important and powerful.  You are a blessing to many!
We love and appreciate you all!
Dennis, Susy and David Thomas
